We are growing up!
Do you remember your 10th birthday? A 10-year milestone is a reason for celebration, a time to reflect and an opportunity to look forward and we are taking the giant step of changing the name of our parent company from Things 4 Kids to Mother Goose Media.
For over 10 years, Mother Goose Media has produced magazines in South East Queensland, initially with Kids on the Coast magazines on the Sunshine Coast and Gold Coast and now with Kids in the City magazine covering Brisbane.
Mother Goose Media has become a trusted resource for parents, carers and extended families. We have created strong and growing communities who we support by inspiring, informing and educating. Our community extends beyond our print publications through extensive social media channels, events, family forums and digital communities. We connect people in a way very few others can offer.
When publisher Toni Eggleston started her first magazine out of her home, she did not expect the amazing journey nor the enormous growth of the business that has occurred over the past 10 years. She explained, “We wanted a name to reflect who we are as people on both a personal and professional level. We are a passionate and talented group of women driving business success through integrated media channels.”
“Mother Goose is a leader, nurturer and provider, which is where we see ourselves amongst the family community.”
The Mother Goose Media community will be continuing to expand with extensive planning and development underway.
The new Kids on the Coast/Kids in the City digital environment is undergoing a major redesign. The new site being tailored around an optimised user experience with the end result being simple, stripped back, and easily digestible content across all your digital devices.
With a stronger focus on community and keeping you in the loop, we’re dedicated to serving you even richer content through our new local guides and What’s On portals.
We will also be offering you a weekly summary of all the best upcoming events and must do’s through our revamped What’s On Weekly newsletter. These are just some of the new and exciting features we’ll be rolling out in the next six months. Keep your eyes peeled!
