Brand New Website Takes Mother Goose Media to the Next Level in Digital

Toni Eggleston, owner of Mother Goose Media, is pleased to unveil the publisher’s brand new website for its Kids in the City and Kids on the Coast magazines (www.kidsonthecoast.com.au and www.kidsinthecitymagazine.com.au).

A visual feast, the new website is interactive and a smorgasbord of information and things to do for families around South East Queensland.

The introduction of the new website is part of Mother Goose Media’s exciting expansion strategy into the digital space, providing a go-to hub for families and multiple opportunities for businesses to build awareness around their brands and bring value to readers. The website includes a range of interactive and visual content with online editorial, ‘best of’ galleries, comprehensive guides, business listings, event calendar, things to do, tutorials and competitions. The website also offers a ‘For Business’ page, a platform where businesses interested in advertising can learn about our digital platforms and print publications and where clients of Mother Goose Media can access support pages.

The new website is unique in both its design and its approach in bringing value to readers and building brand awareness. It goes beyond solely being a website promoting things to do by creating a point of difference through its useful, fun, resourceful, compelling and educational content that is written by experts and helps readers to be ‘in the know’ regarding all things parenting. In the near future, Kids in the City and Kids on the Coast magazine will also be one of the first South East Queensland parenting publications to offer readers access to a live forum on the website where they can interact with like-minded parents and carers as well as participate in live chats hosted by experts and ‘Parent Talk’ panels.

“This website is a platform that will enable our ever-growing audience and our clients to connect with our community and the local community more effectively,” said Eva Lewis, Mother Goose Media’s Digital Editor.

“It was our aim to create an inviting online space that is the first port of call for families seeking information on areas such as parenting, family health, education, wellbeing, holidays, local news and things to do.

“As a parent, the local guide is one of my favourite parts of the website. It’s a great go-to resource for families, a comprehensive list of everything our community offers families – from parks and places to eat to essential services.”

The new website will continue to work alongside the print publications with new features to be constantly rolled out as the digital space develops.

A double page ‘Web Wrap Up’ section can be seen in the current September/October issue.
